Hi, I’m Michael.
I’m from Ohio, but I went to school in Pittsburgh. There, I caught the travel bug.
I’ve taught English in Peru, lived in a Buddhist monastery in China, studied in India, and traveled throughout Israel.
In 2014, I started to thru-hike. In between adventures, I worked in marketing research, hitchhiked across America, and au paired in New Zealand.
Currently, I live in Reno, NV, where I work as an analyst for Patagonia. You can find me adventuring on the weekends along US 395.
I also like tea, travelogues, to-do lists, and indie folk music.
I started this website to chronicle my adventures and get others outdoors.
